Waste to be reduced as well as recycled

The Welsh Assembly Government has agreed to set tough targets to reduce waste as a result of FoE Cymru’s response to its waste strategy consultation. We asked for, and have obtained, a long-term target of reducing waste by 65% by 2050. This will start immediately with annual cuts of 1.5%.
